It’s dark days for the Springboks after another gutless and clueless defeat.
Allister Coetzee’s team lost for the seventh time this year as England broke their 10-year wait to beat South Africa, with a 37-21 pak at Twickenham on Saturday.
And Toetie admits that they are not a happy camp.
He says: It is tough times but when I look at the team, they do not give up and they keep fighting. I draw comfort from that.
“We become our worst enemy when we make individual mistakes and don’t handle the aerial contestables well. Two blunders we made cost us two tries.
“It’s tough but you have to hang in there, you have got to keep working and focus on the positive things.
“As a collective we are not happy with it. If we can improve by giving different players and opportunity we will also look at that.
“Players have to learn how important individual errors are at this stage and take responsibility. We have no excuses.”

Bitterly disappointing @Springboks performance. Selection was poor! Game plan poor, execution poor. Culture damaged, desperate times!

Hopefully the unorganised Bokke can win against a weak Italy side and stop kicking the ball away! Not another team makes me swear this much!

I really feel for the players… they are not equipped and skilled and
clearly the victims of SA Rugby’s poor management. Fix it!
No structure on attack or defence, boys look a little lost to be honest.
