Barca or bust

BIG DAY: Man City star Nolito

City aim for big win in massive Euro tie.

Nolito is dreaming of the day that
Manchester City beat Barcelona.

And the Spain winger is hoping that today is that day as the Catalans visit Eastlands for their Champions League clash.

Luis Enrique’s Barca side beat City 4-0 at the Nou Camp in the sides’ first Group C clash – the Blaugrana’s fifth successive
victory over the Blues.

But Nolito believes now would be the perfect time to secure a first win given the standings, with City just a point ahead of third-placed Borussia Monchengladbach.

He says: “One day we will have to beat them. We have to win this one. If we want to qualify for the next round we need a win.

“Knowing how strong they are, we are going to try and take some points off them.”

Boss Pep Guardiola and his side have just ended a six-match winless run and he is hoping that they can consistently show their class when they face Barca.

Pep says: “In the first half at Camp Nou we played well. I’d like them to show courage and put everything into the game.

“We know them, they know us. But football is unpredictable sometimes.

“Hopefully our quality can make the difference tomorrow. I have been here three months. I was 20 years in Barcelona. I would like to do similar things but I need time.”
