COMING SOON: The Voice SA auditions will be held in October

The Voice SA confirms Cape Town auditions date.

Think you’ve got the voice to conquer the airwaves, here’s your shot at pop stardom.

M-Net has confirmed that there will be a second season of the popular singing competition The Voice SA — and the first auditions are happening next month.

The Cape Town leg of the TV talent show’s open auditions will be held at Belmont Square in Rondebosch on Saturday, October 15.

Last season’s winner, Richard Stirton, walked away a recording contract from Universal Music SA and more than R800 000 worth of prizes.

To enter, you need to: be 18 years old or older, be a South African citizen or permanent resident, however, and have to sign a document stating that you don’t have an existing contract with any recording company.

The Voice SA Season 2 will be broadcast on M-Net Channel 101 from January 2017 and the names of the four celebrity coaches will be known at a later stage.
