Amber’s red light on abuse

OUTSPOKEN: Amber Heard

Johnny Depp's ex is rekking bek about domestic violence.

Amber Heard has raised her voice against abusive partners.

The actress and ex-wife of Hollywood star Johnny Depp has opened up about domestic violence in a new campaign for the #GirlGaze Project.

The 30-year-old blonde beauty settled her divorce from Depp earlier this year after claiming he was “verbally and physically abusive” to her during their marriage, and she has now shared her experiences in an emotional public announcement on YouTube.

In the video, the Drive Angry star said: “I guess there was a lot of shame attached to that, the label of victim. It happens to so many women, when it happens in your home behind closed doors with someone you love it’s not straightforward.

“If a stranger did this it would be a no-brainer.”

Amber now wants to use her celeb status to help people going through similar ordeals.

She ended by urging abuse victims to “speak up and raise their voice”.
